A ride-hailing platform is only as safe as the cars on it. Because Sonik owns its fleet rather than aggregating whatever turns up, vehicle standards are something we set — not something we hope for.
FRSC-certified before it carries anyone
Vehicles are purchased and certified to Federal Road Safety Corps standards as the first step of joining the fleet — before a single passenger gets in.
Electric or hybrid only
The fleet is 100% electric. Vehicles that are not electric or hybrid are not accepted onto the platform, which is why we can say the whole fleet is clean rather than most of it.
Scheduled maintenance, not reactive
Vehicles return to Sonik's own sites on a maintenance schedule that keeps the fleet road-ready, rather than being repaired only once something has already failed.
Charged on our own network
Charging happens at Sonik's proprietary solar-powered stations, so vehicle condition and charging are handled in the same place by the same operation.
Why it holds
We own the fleet, so we can enforce the standard.
On most platforms the vehicle belongs to the driver, so the operator can set rules but cannot really guarantee condition. Sonik acquires and certifies the vehicles itself and assigns them to approved drivers — which means the maintenance schedule, the certification and the charging are all ours to keep.
