Loading Sonik DriveDrive & earn · Earnings
Fares settle inside the app the moment a trip ends, so there is no cash to chase and no week-end reconciliation. How much you keep depends on how you drive with us — bring your own EV, join the fleet, or lease-to-own.

Already own an electric vehicle? Drive it on Sonik Drive and keep 85% of every fare — a 15% commission is all the app takes.

Company fleet
Get assigned a certified electric vehicle from the Sonik fleet and keep 60% of every fare. The remaining 40% covers the vehicle, charging and platform.
Weekly rental
Instead of a fare split
Lease-to-own
Drive a Sonik vehicle toward owning it outright, paying a flat weekly rental fee rather than a percentage of your fares.
The app riders and drivers use, dispatch, payments and the servers behind them.
Sonik's own solar-powered charging stations — the reason you are not buying fuel.
Recruitment, safety training, vehicle maintenance and the team you reach when something goes wrong.
Take-home is fare income minus running costs, and running costs are where a Nigerian driver's week usually disappears. With petrol between ₦900 and ₦1,100 a litre, fuel is the single biggest line. An electric vehicle removes it — running costs drop by around 65% versus petrol — and you charge at Sonik's own solar-powered stations rather than buying fuel at whatever the pump costs that week.
On the fleet track you drive a Sonik vehicle, so there is no car loan to service and no maintenance bill of your own — servicing is scheduled and handled by us. Bring your own EV and you keep a bigger share of the fare to cover those costs yourself; lease-to-own sits in between, with a fixed weekly rental instead of a percentage.

These are operating targets from the business plan, not earnings promises. Sonik Drive is pre-launch — we would rather show you the model than quote you a weekly figure nobody has earned yet.
