Loading Sonik Drive⚡Nigeria's first 100% electric ride-hailing platform
Sonik Drive connects riders with trained electric-vehicle drivers across Nigeria — clean, reliable, and free from the fuel-price swings that squeeze every other platform.
The problem
Uber, Bolt and inDrive all run petrol or hybrid fleets in a market where fuel prices swing constantly — and riders and drivers absorb the cost either way.

How it works
The same platform runs both sides of the marketplace — riders booking trips, and drivers earning more because their fuel costs disappear.
Vehicles are purchased and certified to Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) standards before joining the fleet.
Every driver passes a background check, licensing review, and a dedicated safety training programme.
Riders book through the Sonik Drive app on iOS and Android, with live GPS tracking and in-app fare calculation.
A trip request is matched instantly to the nearest available Sonik driver, with real-time tracking for the full ride.
Fare is settled in-app: 85% goes straight to the driver, 15% supports the platform.
Vehicles return to proprietary solar-powered charging stations, with scheduled maintenance keeping the fleet road-ready.
The app
A clean, confidence-inspiring booking flow — from finding nearby drivers to choosing a ride tier that fits.
Every driver on the platform is background-checked and safety-trained before their first ride.
See drivers around your location the moment you open the app, with live ETA.
Choose a standard electric ride, or step up to Premium for a quieter, more comfortable trip.
Know the cost before you book — no surge surprises, no haggling.

Drivers get their own app — availability, trip requests, earnings, and the solar-powered charging network built straight into the working day.

Every dollar of grant funding maps to a specific, verifiable outcome: first a published app, then a fleet of electric vehicles running real rides in Abuja.
The app is finished and listed on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store first — that's the platform riders and drivers will use. The remaining funds then build the working model: a certified pilot fleet, solar charging sites, trained drivers, and a full public launch in Abuja.
We're building the clean, reliable ride-hailing platform Nigeria doesn't have yet — and we'd welcome the chance to walk you through it.
