Sonik Drive launches in Abuja and grows from there — to a national footprint of four cities by Year 3, expanding only as fast as our own charging network can carry the fleet.
Where we launch
One city, run properly, before anything else. The pilot fleet and the first solar-powered charging sites are being built in Abuja — the same city the company is registered and based in — so the model can be proved on home ground before it travels.
Sonik Drive Nigeria Limited is based in Abuja, FCT, Nigeria— Abuja is the company's home city and the base of the pilot electric fleet. It is where the first certified vehicles, the first trained drivers and the first solar-powered charging stations come together.

The Year 2 target is a 30% share of the Abuja ride-hailing market, at 12 rides per electric vehicle per day.

We have not named the three cities that follow Abuja, and we would rather say so than guess: they will be announced closer to launch, once the Abuja fleet and its charging network are running. Sonik Drive is pre-launch — every date and city here is a target from the plan, not a service already operating.
Charging
A 100% electric fleet can only run where it can charge. That single fact sets the shape of our map: coverage expands at the speed of our proprietary solar-powered charging network, not ahead of it. It is the reason we start in one city rather than scattering vehicles across several.
Sonik Drive runs proprietary solar-powered charging stations rather than depending on somebody else's forecourt. Vehicles return to them to charge and for scheduled maintenance.
An electric fleet can only run where it can charge. So charging capacity — not ambition — sets the pace at which new cities come online.
Charging infrastructure has its own line in the funding plan, alongside the pilot fleet itself, so the sites exist before the vehicles that depend on them.
